| Has anyone of you read the new book written by Al Gore - you know, the one who stood for the election against Bush many years ago? I think it is called "The Inconvinient Truth" in English and I would like to know if it is worth reading it. So, can you recommend it? Actually, I didn't really know that Al Gore was so concerned about environment. |

| I've just finished The Stornoway Man, by Kevin MacNeil. Said to be the best Scottish book since Trainspotting, it follows the life of a character, whom the author refers to as R Stornoway, who is a drink addled misfit, inhabitant of the Isle of Lewis and a man trying to break free of an island he can't let go. It is certainly different and is not for anyone offended by swearing. Some of it is so true to live in Stornoway!! Hic!! |
