Are there any moments from during Borlum that made you go 'WOW'

I'll start with Malky's excellent performance with 2 guitars in the one song. Saw the guitar and the stand being carried out and couldn't work out what was going on. A brilliant piece of malkymagic being able to play 2 guitars like that.

One of the other moments was the female violin player in the short skirt during Stamping Ground. A pleasant sight (and an eyefull!! ohmy.gif ) amidst all the rain, mud and glaur

Any more....

the biggest WOW moment was waking up on the saturday morning and heading over to the toilets and seeing how much mud there was blink.gif

Seriously though the best moment for me was Malky playing On The Edge, it blew me away. It was absolutly fantastic smile.gif

I wasn't there but from Tiz's review to me I think he'd agree with you about that violin player... rolleyes.gif

I agree about On the Edge...an outstanding performance from Malcolm, even by his standards. Also the Engine Room with the flashing strobe lighting during the thundering introduction was another moment. For a few seconds it felt like we were at a Rave!

Oh yes indeedy.........I hope she is a permanant feature and she just beat Duncan in terms of looks and shapely legs. Any idea where I can get her telephone number. Seriously does anyone know who she was.

I thought Sona was the wow for me. It sounded real raunchy and raw.

Wow for me was after, seeing what everyone had been standing in!

On the Edge would have been a WOW, except I'd heard it in Denmark where we were treated to a longer version with more shots of the Cuillin.

As for the fiddle player, Malky had the tough job of standing next to her for the play-out of Proterra. Well done Malky, a tough job but someone's got to do it! I wonder what his WOW for the evening was?

Clash of the Ash and Every River were major Wows for me!!

I think the fiddle girl was something McGuinness (she had her initials on the front of her mini kilt!! but I guess you guys weren't actually looking at the kilt!!! smile.gif )

The fiddler was Laura McGhee - the same one who accompanied them in New York last year. Slightly more pleasing on the eye than Duncan Chisholm! cool.gif

Cutter, I would have to disagree totally with you on that one!! Duncan is by far the better looking of the two!! And he plays better fiddle!! biggrin.gif

Hear hear realconon! My friend, who had never seen Duncan before, described him as "dashing"!

when the RHCP were playing...that was superb! Nothing really stood out to me on the runrig set...just runrig ain't it? They were good though.

I found a new love in Great Big Sea - order a CD last night!

The WOW for me was when Runrig came and straight through to the end, with all their colour, glory and passion.

I wasn't close enough to see the nice lady Malky was playing with... can't wait for the DVD though tongue.gif haha

As I have said on the review thread, I really enjoyed Every River. Brian's song brought a tear to my eye and I took that time to enjoy the music and reflect on things - thanks Brian smile.gif

Every minute of the set made it worth while to be sinking in mud haha
