A follow up from an idea on the tartan idea brought up by Data, it seemed to get a couple of positive responses.

If we had one designed up how many people would seriously consider buying one? Obviously it all depends on the design and how much you like it but its just a floating idea at the moment.

Hendo, what about a t shirt with all the MB names of those who agreed to their names being on it?? Along with a RR logo of some sort, of course.

I was thinkin about draftin up a kinda MB logo. Was thinkin since its called The Stamping Ground now we could use the S off the stamping ground logo, try and match up a font and have a big SGMB with the words The Stamping Ground Message Board around it on a circular border. On the back we could have the RR logo and The Stamping Ground Message Board in big letters. I quite like the idea of all the users names though Mike.

Thats just off the top of my head though. Feel free to throw in your own ideas on how to improve. But it still depends on how many people would seriously buy one that would influence whether or not we go to the trouble of doing something about it.

I would seriously buy one. I love the Stamping Ground logo so maybe as you say just incorporate that in it.

Nice idea about our user names, but that would limit who would buy it. new members wouldn't buy it if our names were on it and their name wasn't. So it could maybe have a limited shelf life.

I think a cool RR inspired design (maybe Rory would make one for us!! smile.gif ) and just the SGMB on it with the SG logo. smile.gif

No cheap material please that shrinks when it first sees a washing machine!!!

I like this idea. I'm not a huge fan of big pictures on tour T-shirts, I like the subtle ones. (the black one with the "Runrig" logo on the left breast is the only one I have).

Would we have to get permission to use the Stamping Ground logo? Also, would it be possible to have a variety of colours, otherwise we'll all look like we're wearing a uniform!

Maybe BigSky can put us in touch with some quality manufacturers, the Runrig T-shirts always seem to be well made.

Another way would be to use a Runrig T-shirt, and get some soert of MB logo printed onto it.

Just a few ideas to knock about....

How about the MB user name on the back in the same style as a footy shirt?
The runrig Tee's are all Fruit of the Loom gear which is pretty good. All my school shirts used to be made from them, as were the Hebfest Tee's this year.
